Online SRD Status Check for R350 Payment Dates

The easiest way to check the SRD status is via its website. You only need to search in the Google bar, “SRD Status Check,” and open SASSA’s official website.

Here, you will see two options, “South African ID Number Of Applicant” and “Phone Number Used To Submit Your Application”.

Enter the relevant information and tap on the “Submit” button; after a few seconds, a new page will open with different options.

The new page will arrive with all the details about your application status. It will show you the dates and progress in your application.

SRD Status Check Via Android App

There is another way you can effortlessly check the application status within 2 minutes. SASSA has launched the app for the convenience of its applicants. You can check your application status, file your application, or see other announcements on the SASSA app.

How To Download the SASSA App?

To download the application, go to the Play Store or App Store of your cell phone and type “SASSA.” There could be so many options but open the application, which has an SASSA logo as its icon. Now tap on the download button available below, and it will take a few seconds to finish the process.

Now you have successfully downloaded the application, provide the relevant information. It will ask you to put the “ID number of Application” and “Phone Number You Used To Submit the Application.” Once you provide the information, recheck the accuracy and tap on the “Submit” button.

The application status will be visible on the new page, showing you the further developments in your application. If the application is rejected or accepted, it will simply show the notification; otherwise, “Application in process” will appear on the screen.

SRD Status Check Via WhatsApp

If you are unable to check your status via the SASSA official website and application, then there is another way you can do this task via WhatsApp. SASSA provides you an opportunity to check your status within a minute via WhatsApp for the convenience of users.

• Save the Whatsapp number, 082 046 8553, and open the application.
• Now go to the contacts section and tap on the three dots button on the top right side of the screen.
• If you tap on it, a drop-down list will appear, in which you are required to select “Refresh.” Open a chat with SASSA, type “SASSA,” and send the message.
• You will receive a message in response and send back the message with “Yes.”
• Now provide the application ID number, and it will send back your application status.

Do not provide further details to anyone other than SASSA, and make sure you are texting with an accurate Whatsapp account.

SASSA Helpline (Toll-free Number)

All these methods require a fast internet connection, but in case you do not have access to the internet, all these methods are useless. But there is a way you can thoroughly know about your application status. The applicant can call the SASSA helpline and find out about his application status.

You can contact them on 0800-60-10-11 and tell them that you want to know about your application status. When you call the helpline, they may ask for further details such as your address or ID number, so provide all the details. Make sure that you do not provide these details to irrelevant authorities.

Once you have completed the details, the person on call will guide you on your application status. Here, you can ask further questions, for example, how many days the application will take to approve or why the application is rejected. Be polite, and do not misbehave if your application has been canceled.

Visiting The SASSA Office

There are chances that all these methods guide you that your application is in process, but if you have filed the application for more than two weeks, then you can visit the office. There is no need to go to the headquarters of SASSA, and you can go to any nearby regional office. Provide all information, such as the ID number and the date you applied.

They may ask for further details or the transaction slips; therefore, carry all the significant documents and give them proof. If you have complained about something, then show the date when you filed the application and explain the problem to them. 3. Period Pending: It means the application has been received but is in progress; therefore, see the application status later in the month.
